Event Details

Join us for the first ever 9bar9x9, a multi-lap trail running festival set in the stunning grounds of Loseley Park in Surrey.

The cleverly mapped out 9km course is off-road and traffic free, and offers runners of all ages and abilities a varied and challenging route that takes in the Hog?s Back, woodland trails and the North Downs Way, with the impressive Loseley House at the heart of the event.

There are four distances to choose from, either as a solo runner or as a relay team of two or three, allowing you to share the experience with friends:

  • Half Ultra Distance ? 3 laps of 9km ? 27km
  • Marathon Distance ? 5 laps of 9km ? 45km
  • Ultra Distance ? 6 laps of 9km ? 54km
  • Super Ultra Distance ? 9 laps of 9km ? 81km

We?ll have a 9bar pitstop on the route, stocked with nutritious 9bars, drinks, and snacks to keep you fuelled up during the event, along with tea, coffee and cake available for all finishers. At our mini race village, located on site, you will also get the chance to learn about and try some excellent racing gear and nutrition brands.

During the event 9bar team members and ambassadors will be on hand around the clock to help support you through your challenge and provide you with that much need energy boost, no matter what stage you are at.

The location itself boasts beautiful surroundings and the 9km route offers several great viewing spots to watch the race. So bring your family and friends to cheer you along and join in with the fun and festivities throughout the day.

Rules

  • Race numbers must be attached to your shirt/top and be visible to the front when passing through the finish;
  • Runners must follow the marked course at all times;
  • Teams of two or three run as a relay and changeover is at the transition point only;
  • For teams, only one member may be on the course at any time;
  • Runners are not allowed to be accompanied by Pacers;
  • Part of the course is set on public footpaths ? please be aware of other users of these paths not connected with the event and treat them with every courtesy;
  • Please respect the countryside by putting your litter in the bins provided ? any runner found littering will be removed from the results;
  • A bag drop will be provided, but the organisers accept no responsibility for any loss/theft/damage to property;
  • Runners compete in this event entirely at their own risk;
  • In addition to medical information provided during the registration process, any changes to existing medical conditions and any prescription medicine carried should be disclosed to the on-site medic team;
  • We cannot guarantee that the aid station food does not contain traces of nuts;
  • If you have to withdraw whilst on the course through injury or any other reason, please do your best to get back to the finish, so that we can account for you;
  • Refunds will be given until the 10th of August 2015, after that date no refund will be given and this includes for example delay/cancellation of the event due to circumstances beyond our control such as severe weather or a local emergency; a change to the course for reasons beyond the organisers control.
